Only other game like it I’ve tried is Conan on PS4. I mean it’s had a stronger playerbase than Division 2. Always gave it a run during D2 dry spells and it’s different enough of an online game from it that. More and more I have to say it’s becoming one of my favorites of recent memory. but it does have its moments where it impresses. You can pretty much treat this as a single player game and in some ways it’s better served as such since so much of your time is spent scavenging. I would like to see some kind of gladiator arena put on the map to put builds against eachother tho but the gunplay still has a long friggin way to go before that can actually be made. The griefing aspect of the vanilla game was pretty much gutted since no players where actually doing it anyway. PVP is pretty much regulated to the BR mode. I assume they’re trying to see how well the sheep buy cosmetics to fuel production. But I don’t expect Bethesda to start doing that.
I mean it couldn’t be worse than Fallout 4’s season pass which was 75% camp nonsense and ridiculously overpriced.
I still don’t see the appeal of Fallout 1st aside from server stability by having less players on a server. As long as I don’t need to get that to also get new dlc quests It’s easy to ignore. I guess it’s there for the super hardcore. No way would I spend 100hrs + a season with 76 for those rewards. I think the season pass is outrageous Anyway. It’s like thinking you’re missing out on street fighter because you don’t own all 16 of chun- li’s dlc outfits. And the wastelanders drop to begin with is one of the most generous free dlc updates in recent memory anyway. All the legitimate gameplay content is not gated by a micro transaction store. Or building your camp with new plans acquired from in-game rewards. The main drive is rolling good legendary perks on weapons and armor and crafting your character build.
